Yeah i thought it was too. Just want to say that i havent got it yet, its ordered. and should be in on tues/wed. Its a Bosch one cos i asked him. Ive used this guy before and i know he knows his stuff cos i know a lot of people use him and he answers my questions well. He supplies and reconditions starter motors and alternators of all types and thats all he does. Its a small business in Botley, Hampshire. Tel: 01489788121
http://www.jafm.co.uk/map.html
When it comes in ill fit it first and then see if everything is ok. Otherwise if i recommend him etc and it turns out to be the wrong one again then im running everyone up the garden path.
Ive bought 3 starter motors from him now and they were all fine. (reconditioned ones for other cars) but this one im buying is for my vw t25 and is new.
BTW it possible there is VAT on top but i forgot to ask but that is still cheap.
Anyway, i hope he can help you. Ill let you lknow how i got on.
Cheers

Good on you, we are having a positive outcome.
When you get this motor take a few pickies of it and also note down all/any make and ser;numbers, allways usefull to have.

Yep got the starter. looks fine and have fitted it. Cant try it until i get my sump back on and put everything back..but will let you know.
Starter was new (Bosch) and was £80 plus £8 postage. So £88. Not bad.

See, told you that you could do it, plus a good price for the motor.
