Syncro SVX project

Post by syncropete »

Really pleased to have the svx engine finally mated up to the gearbox and bolted in situ. Lots of cleaning and decluttering of the engine bay, gathering of parts and head scratching is begining to pay off. I am using small car engine mounts (modified to retain original oil cooler and assosiated pipework) and exhaust headers. RJES have supplied bellhousing and clutch components.
Reversed inlet manifold to simplify air intake and relocated alternator. Turbo flywheel and pull clutch should deal with the 230 bhp :D Have the wiring loom to fit, coolant and fuel hoses to connect and a pipe to make up to connect silencer to headers. Richard at www.rjes.com has been very helpfull with this project and would highly reccomend his products. Pictures will follow.
Pete.
