removing westy side windows

Hi i need to remove the side rear window from my van to attempt a rot repair. Any hints and tips would be helpfull as i dont know where to start!!!! thanks in advance alan

Right men got the window out and ouch!!! Its a mess aint much metal left help me any advise appriciated!!! alan b Wirral

Cut the rot out, fabricate new metal to suit, weld in, treat and paint. Standard procedure I`m afraid, time consuming and a bit skilled to get it to look right and do the job properly. If in doubt pay someone who knows what to do.
