what's this part please?

the part that goes between these two,
goes on the end of the thingie & goes into the bigger thingie,
a rubber seal that has broken, need to find order
the part asap but don't know what it would be listed as!?!

The "thingy" in the foreground that looks like a showerhead just plugs into the hole on rocker cover to the right. But I see now that you're missing the sealing grommet that goes onto that.

Haven't got a clue what that's called, or where to find it, sorry

Although we all love a mystery to solve and we don't all know the proper name for stuff you'll have to give us a little more info...
What engine do you have and where exactly is the pic of? More info in your profile would have helped on the first Q - white Transporter is a bit generic!

That's a TD engine.

Just checked on a German forum, the VW part number for the seal you're looking for is: 028 103 500

here it is ...number 4 on this picture
