Tin wear seal

Post by fraggers »

Hi, just a quicky
I have a 2.0l CU engine, does the Tinewear seal have to be tight to the engine bay, as in form a fairly airtight seal, e.g be touching the engine bay metal work all the way round? (i know it can't form a total air seal)

TIA for you answers. :D
Are you SURE it's supposed to make THAT noise....

Mine has a rubber seal that touches the bodywork all the way round so i'd say yes.

Absolutely, reduces mammoth heat produced by exhaust and keeps road crap out.
