Post by themurphys »

Hello all i know this has proberbly been asked before but i cant find what i am looking for i am wanting as much help as you can spare or for you to point us in the right direction . I have just took out the interior of my camper completly all wiring and so on as one of my friends who was going to do the wiring said Yeah piece of cake mate take it all out and we will start from scratch the problem is he has gone to work in Angola and wont be able to do wiring for atleast 7 weeks . I do have another chap who said he would do it he is very handy and i have used him on other projects but he said some sort of diagram would help him ie the zig unit and how you switch from 12 volt to mains hookup any help would be brilliant

Thanks to everybody who has helped us get our van back on the road after her recent engine troubles

Not sure I understand that, as the 12v circuits are separate from mains.

the mains circuits are very simple affairs.

A 230v male europlug (on the outside of the van)
wired to an RCD.
wired to a three pin plug socket. and maybe a fridge

no need for switches

the 12volt circuit depends on what you are going to use it for.
there's a fridge and leisure battery circuit diagram in the wiki
