Has anyone got 14" AT tyres on their syncro?

I cant find XCM's anywhere, doesnt look like they are made in that size anymore.. this seems to be the big problem...
I was after a set of Goodyear vector ultragrips.. these have bigger grooves than the standard vectors.. and would be ideal as an "AT" but UK doesnt hold them in 205/14 anymore and wont "special order" them.. France still lists them, but local supplier want "silly price" for them... + they ae directional...

this all sounds good.
just a simple question, what wheel width do you need to fit 205's.

campers still running what i assume are the original steel wheels with chrome hub caps. will try and find out what width they are.

205's will go on the stock 5.5J rims, but VW spec'd a 6J steel rim or the factory alloys (carat/magnum style or the bullet hole style) which are 6J
