Now, I was talking to Richard Jones (RJES) about scooby conversions and as soe of you may be awa I am back in the UK now..
I am thinking of doing a 2.5 scooby conversion on the caravelle when it comes back..
Trouble is.. what insurance co's will insure a left hand drive 8 seat (No I cant take some out) with a 2.5 scooby in the back..
Now when it was insured in the UK before it was a pain.. Flux wouldnt coz it was 8 seats (like a load of others) and others wouldnt coz its LHD... now maybe Flux will if it is "modified".....
Suggestions please...
As for the sticky thread
if peeps could give a general spec of mods and who insured it and if they were good about it.. an idea??
Insurance sticky??

Did a quick search in Wiki. Hacksawbob started a listing for Caravelle insurance... there is an 8 seat Caravelle insured by CIS listed there.
Pretty sure 8 seat insurance problems has been discussed before.
A 2.8 Caravelle with some suspension/brake modes could be a treat to drive! A real sport van. Wonder if a syncro would be even better handling?
