Wet spot under van.

Post by lloyd »

Clutch cylinder is seeping. Where's best place to get one in less then a week.
GSF ones any good? Will be running to Apps Court Friday and would like to get it done Wednesday afternoon or Thursday morning. Assume it's an hour job if everything (clutch line) comes apart without problems.

Thanks

If your on about the one at the gearbox end i got mine from euro car parts took about hour to fit as there a bit o'bugger to get in and then about 20 mins to bleed it so all in about a mornings work if not brill with spanners plus you'll need some one to help bleed it !

Thanks. Sounds like I figured it would be. Already put some penetrating oil on bolts/nuts/connections in hopes they won't be seized up when I do it. Will order from GSF for free delievery. Living in the sticks can be a pain.

best bit is they should come with new bleed nipple so no need to mess about trying to undo them, when you do it have a bowl under the pipe as a fair amount of brake/clutch fluid tends to leak out the pipe!
