New 81 Vanwagon....

Post by van81 »

Just picked up a 1981 Vanwagon....been stored in a garage for the past 6 years. Put gas in her, charged the Battery and fired right up. Drove it around about 5 miles and ran better and better. Only thing I noticed was alot play in the steering....is this common? Will probly be posting alot in the future. THANKS

I have an 88 T25 and in terms of steering play it just don't have any. I think you need to crawl about under it etc. while someone wiggles the wheel.
