Can someone answer the following for me?
Currenly wiring in the zig. It came with the instructions which we are religiously following. Just one question....it shows a negative wire from each battery back to the zig.
BUT, it doesn't show a chassis earth for either battery. I was expecting to see one for both batteries. So, do I put a chassis earth on the leisure AS WELL AS the negative wire to zig?
Just to confirm - the engine battery currently has a chassis earth! I WILL be leaving it there, and just adding a negative wire as the diagram shows.

Batteries ground to chassis but, for convenience, the ZIG wiring includes a separate negative from the leisure battery to the zig so that any habitation items such as lights and water pump etc, can be routed to the zig and have connections for negative available. Some components in the zig must also be connected to negative. You could ground the negative of the zig to a convenient chassis point but best to stick to the diagram supplied and run a separate wire. I run a 35A cable from the leisure battery negative to the Starter Battery negative and one to chassis. The ZIG grounds via a return cable to the negative of the leisure battery
