I would say you definattely need a carpenter.....this is a very very very technical job. Only a carpenter should attempt a job like this.
Do not attempt it unless you have all the necessary qualifications......very very difficult. You could end up with a splinter or who knows what else!!
You really should do it yourself or get a friend who is reasonable (savy)!!!
dont think it warrrants paying for a carpenter
:lol

GOULAG, well its like a corned beef hash that originated in hungary hence Hungarian Goulash, it used to be eaten in the prisons/goulags but as they didnt have fray bentos they used rats and mice thats why its goulag not goulash,
well you did ask
back to the bed, well I would also suggest a full dust extraction systemas these dust mites can get awfull troublesome, so much so that action may need to be taken
an activated charcoal mask would also be usefull.
please keep us posted with your progress

Re: Do I sell my Van to pay the mortage??
e3. Bet you wish you'd never asked!!!
I fitted my own and am not a chippy. It is fairly simple if you remember to measure twice and cut once! Just take your time and Good Luck! Keep the ££ for fuel!
If you were closer to York I'd help you!

Sorry but I was only waffling and making it all up!!
A Goulag is a very or should I say was a very unpleasant prison camp , the Russians built a great many of them if you do a goog' search you will find all sort about them ,
A Goulash is a very tasty spicy beef stew of Hungarian origin, There are many different recipees for it , I make it with home made corned or more correctly pressed beef and lots of fresh chillis and paprika.

Somebody must be local to E3,? go round and help sort it out maybe a south Wales mini meat it could end up as a weekend 'hot bed' of goulash makers.
E3 if your not confident then fair enough, its not difficult the measurements for mounting the hinges are the most important part, and the rest follows on from there.

if you are nervous about it - try making a dummy pece out of cardboard - to work out what goes where, then use the card as a template for your wood.
yep, i used to love Blue peter..... i like blue peter solutions.
i like goulash too
but - be careful of splinters....... they can hurt
