Post by Gunslinger »

Front spotlamp brackets are obsolete from VW and I wanted to fit some spots above the front bumper and wondered how and where other members had them fitted

on my syncro, the spotties and driving lights are bolted straight to the roo-bar. my baja bug has a single gutter mounted roof rack bar thing with 4 pairs (8) lights bolted to that! wired with trailer flex, and all seperated switched, inc main beam switched!

do it you know you want to!

yes they are, and I have raised them using a couple of rod joiners.
I wanted the lamps to sit within the bottom grill, if viewed from the front

Hi everyone, this thread caught my eye as i was thinking of mounting some spots to my van, i am yet to try this yet but i thought that if i were to get some crystal indicators to fit a big bumper mk2 golf then put halogen bulbs in them i could mount them (somehoe) in the vent holes of my 5 piece front spoiler, i think they'll look pretty stock and keppin it dub :ok Has anyone else done something similar, any pics would be great, cheers
