vibrating clutch noise
hi there i seem to have a vibrating sound coming from my van(the van dosnt shudder) and the faster i go the more it seems to vibrate and then when i slow down the less it vibrates and also when i put my foot on the cluth ever so slightly it stops now im no machanic so i wouldnt have a clue what this could be as my clutch pedal isnt louse and also if i take it out of gear and just cruise the vibrating noise is still there any ideas at what this could be
Don't take my word for it but I am trying to understand exactly what would be wrong with what I believe your man is saying is the clutch release bearing to give the symptoms you describe. I say this because when my gearbox got stuck in top two French engineers insisted it was my clutch in spite of the fact you could start the motor with the clutch depressed. They would have recomended a clutch change and all that labour only to find it still didn't work!jonnyels wrote:thanks for your suggestions but ended up taking it to a garage and they confirmed its the clutch bearing so thats booked in now cheers again
