JK Knockers

Post by jpee »

I know JK has its knockers among us, and i can see why when it comes to VW 'parts' some of it not the best of quality. However their camping gear side of things is really good and the service is top notch. Ordered an awning inner tent 1 day and arrived next morning to central Scotland. Phoned to say i got the wrong one, no quibbles, no problems correct one sent following day with the instructions just to keep the wrong item sent.

So i have an inner tent for a JK tunnel awning up for grabs if anyone can use it.

The camping stuff initially was just ripped from the reimo catalougue, now jk have moved on to towsure etc. no different in quality to any of those.

I am thankful to JK, for keeping VW stuff, but would rather pay 6p more for a better made chinese copy, they can do it, but choose not to for profitability, thats what pi$$e$ me off.

Crikey if we joined the euro those german online parts stores would do a roaring trade from brittish dub owners.

I've just bought virtually an entire new front from JK for my early bay and can't fault it.

OK. technically it's not a front for an early bay because no-one really does them, but it's as good as it's going to get - comes with blanking plates for the "pooh" lights up top and everything - so it'll do. Beats £1000 plus on Fleabay for broken parts that come up once a blue moon or Alan Schofield that seem to follow the exchange rate in Mars!!!!!

From experience of stuff I've bought in the past they seem v.good. No quibbles if something isn't right, careful packaging and lightning quick delivery time. You must make sure you check everything before you sign for it though as any dings, breakages etc that you discover after you unpack apparently will not be dealt with by JK. You've accepted delivery of the goods - you deal with the consequences if they're knackered in transit :(
Apparently a spades' a spade - until yer start diggin' - then it's a pain in the a***.... Ho Hmmm!!!!! Or is that Hi Hoooo!!!!!

Replacement inner arrived today. That really is service. I now also have a spare inner that another member can use. Stroll on. It's not often a F**k up has benefits.
