On a hot day spray the trays with an aerosol can of waxoyl from halfords.

Has yours got slots cut in the gutter above the air vents, or do you park on a slope, ccause mine dont do that?

no,no slots in guttering,it runs out guttering then half way down top rear panel and into vents,l put silicon sealent in the gutter at the ends it just over flowed and followed the same path,l just thought others may have had same prob and found a solution,l am tempted to weld in a extended piece to run the water else where.

The sealant has to run down along the sheet metal right next to the vent, to prevent the water from taking the turn down and inside. Use black sealant, and you will hardly notice it. That prevents the worst waterfalls. But definetly use the waxoyl (or similar) on those trays.
