Hi everyone in 80-90 land, heres a question I would like some help with,
I am restoring a T25 1984 model, and I'm quite happy to shed blood sweat and tears(and money) on making sure she gets back on the road, but unfortunately apart form a few panel repairs etc i've discovered that the rear trailing arm mountings on the inboard side have seriously corroded, is there anyone out there that do some sort of factory replacement? or is it possible that someone can re-manufacture , the original part with a bit of engineering, as I seriously dont want tp get rid of a very sound camper just because of a few dodgy areas on my vehicle.
have had just seen this on another van,
i am going to cut a large area from a solid van being scrapped so the owner can clean both bits up and use a section from the scrap van as a repair panel!
if your at vanfest pop over, i can see if there is another one worth saving
Like Billy said. You`re not far from CJ at Syncrospares, give him a call and see if he`s got a suitbale breaking van with the chassis in good order for you to cut and use.
