rattle

i a have a rattle on my engine when i get to the rev point for changing gear or when i am in 4th at 50-55mph
it`s a tinny rattle
anyone any ideas
1980 1600 Aircooled t25
it`s had new valve springs fitted and a new back box

or anyone in warrington willing to have a listen
that knows their stuff

I find that it is usually the loose change I keep in the ash tray!!!

Have you checked your tinware for security, and have a look around your heat exchangers underneath for loose items.
