Hi Guys,
I have been driving my t25 for a while now but thought I'd post to check something. When driving (some gears are worst than others) there is what I can describe as a grinding noise in the front (I can't specifically say where). When I'm motorway driving in fourth I can alter the noise by moving the gear knob to the side whilst still in gear. I'm not mechanically minded but trying to learn! I originally put this down to the vehicle being old but was wondering if this could be a fault I need to look at, or maybe it's both!
Thanks in advance.

I have had experience of dodgy wheel bearings before and don't think this is the problem (although was on a newer car). I haven't had the gearbox oil level checked, I will look into this. Its not the case where I'm holding the gearstick simply moving it's position whilst in gear changes the grinding noise.
Cheers,
Will

Thanks for the info guys,
I've driven with this problem for a few thousand miles without the problem worstening. In my mind this problem isn't catastrphic, am I correct (assuming it is oil or bearings)? I will look at my haynes manual and attempt to check oil and bearings, thanks Beaker and thanks for the help guys.
