does anyone know were the brake light switch is located on a 1990 T25 deisel camper van

its on the master cylinder, which is under the dash

thanks for the info. it's very much like that BUT has no switch on it just a flat plate with screws in it? no lose wires etc? It is at the bottom of the steering colum? the two Vw dealers Ive spoken to say diffrent things, so there not sure?
My van is a 1990 deisel, but that should'nt make much diffrence? should it.

windysurferuk/Rozzo a big thank you as your info was spot on, its just that I never read it properly. I was away in Wales on holiday using someone else's PC and rushing of stead of reading what was written. Anyway found it this morning after re-reading what windysurferuk had written. Hopefully get the bit Tuesday and fit it. Again THANKS
