Best place to buy injector pipes? 1,6TD

Post by KarlT »

1.6TD.
Second from back pipe split today. Diesel everywhere :( !! Sheared off above injector.
RAC made a make-shift one but told me to replace it soon as all pipes should be the same lenght (Does this really matter?)
What should I expect to pay from a breakers compared to new? Where from?

I was thinking about fuel pipes today and wondered if anyone makes them up like brake pipes?

You would never believe it but these things do regularly fracture, which is strange as you rarely see corrosion on them when the do fail.
I'm talking from recent experience.

Don't know if they are the exact same quality, but this guy usually doesn't sell crap and comes highly recommended from German T3 circles.

I don't wish to sound patronising but have you tried 'Googling' injection services in your area ? coz I'll lay a pound to a pinch of shyte that those guys in Exeter could copy/shape and supply any pipe ever produced.

Or ask CJ @ Syncrospares for a second hand set....
