leaking doors

Post by thecherryB »

I'm getting water coming in at the bottom of the passenger door, just where the door turns from running horizontal accross the top of the wheel to an angle upwards. it looks like the water was pooling here outside the seal so I tought it was a failing seal, have replaced with a seal from JK but still the same problem. any ideas??

The water runs under the plastic coating on the seat box and down onto the floor in the back and I cant get this bit covered untill the leak is sorted.

I'd check the whole door seal, if you haven't already. My T25 has a small lake near the bottom of the passenger door, but the water's actually getting in near the top front corner and running down the inside, between the door and the van body, to emerge at the bottom. It had me stumped for a little while because the inside of the door is bone dry where the leak is; the water's running invisibly down the edge.

Hope this helps!
