Aircooled Breather problems

Post by Essex Nige »

Right here's my problem, i have a wonderful 1980 Aircooled which has a great engine. However i have missing or broken breather pipes, does anyone know of a website or indeed know where they go.

Also as the engine warms the tick over speeds up (maybe as a result of the breather pipe problem) to what i think is a little high any answers are welcome

Photo of the broken bit or the hole where its missing help.

Bit confused by pipes with an 's' . Thought they had only 1

I might be well off track but did you mean advance and retard pipes? (off the carb(s) to the dizzy)
