Leisure battery terminal crud

Post by nesty »

I keep getting massive amounts of white powder corrison on my Leisure battery postive terminal. My main battery fine.

I have cleaned it off loads of times but keeps coming back. Is there any way to prevent this? I did put a new terminal on, could it be this that is reacting?

Petrolleum Jelly tends to prevent this kind of thing.

There used to be a product called 'No Crode' which was a red coloured grease for battery terminals.
Stocked at your local motorist discount.
