Hi,
Right... I'vegot to get to V festival tommorow and my van has decided to be tricky to be put into first gear and make a hell of a grind when being put into third.
My vans a 1989 T25 2.1 with a four speed replacement gearbox.
I'll be honest with you here and tell you although I love my van I usually take it to the dub garage down the road and am not mechanically adept......BUT is there a way I can easily adjust the clutch so it stops grinding or am I looking at a wing and a prayer at getting to Chelmsford tommorow???????
All help gratefully recieved....cheers, Ben

Maybe worth having a look in the old haynes manual, there is an article in there about adjusting the gear lever an the whole selection thing and the alignment. Hope you get to V

Cheers to both of you..., got the book out now and just read something on the forum tech about spraying white grease on stuff, so looks like i'll be up at the crack of dawn to 'fix' it.
......hopefully Dawn won't mind
