MoT Failure!

Post by Comic Karma »

Guy's

The bus has just failed it's Mot  with amongst other things a problem with the rear springs. Apparantly when it was lowered 50mm the previous owner did not replace the existing shocks with shorter ones. The MoT guy said he would have to fail it because when jacked up the springs fall out due to them not being held in place by a shortened shock :?

My question to you guys is whether you can get shortened shocks specifically designed for shorter rear springs.

Over to you............... :D

I'm not saying nobody on here can answer your question but the good folk over on 'The Brickyard' seem to carry out this exercise at the drop of a hat. I'd duplicate your query on there too.

There's also a post by Mr B regarding lowering generally http://brick-yard-co-uk.olympus.webwizh ... p?TID=4473
