Door Hinge Pin

Post by jaymo »

Hi guys,

The pin that should be in the part I've pictured is missing on both sides of my van, and because these pins are missing, the doors will open too far and is putting stress on the hinges.

I'm careful not to let this happen too often, but still does now and again, and as these pins have been missing since I bought the van, I thought it was about time I got it sorted

The only problem is, I don't know what the correct name is for these pins. If some kind person can let me know what this part is called, I'll have a look on the net and see if I can buy a couple.

Youd be wanting a 'clevis pin' this is like a short nail with a hole drilled through it for a split pin,

Might be easiest if I have a root about and post you a coule as its not worth the effort/time to source one as they is like 10pence a piece!
PM me your addy
