Big lumps of metals and spanners.

Water tank hooks and brackets...

Post by chrisray »

Where to buy... as I've taken the water tank out of underneath the T3, as thought there was a leak..but as the brackets and hooks have been dismantled they are also rusted but one is bent..so I would like to replace it. I haven't seen anywhere to buy this sort of thing, here's what they look like...

The brackets don't need to be replaced, as they can simply be coated with por15 and primed over.. but the hook is too bent

They are M8 fitment...

you can buy hook bolts from any iron mongers, about 55p each.
they are used for holding roofing sheets down and in fence building.

Cheers for that!

Tho did a yell search for iron mongers via postcode and they came up with Robert Dyas Ltd :?

Will do a wider search I thinks :)

yell was crap google has onyl returned one search http://www.toolfastdirect.co.uk/acatalo ... _Nuts.html

Unfortunately I have to buy 100 of them.. will see the local ironmongers tomorrow but I'm doubtful as most of the shops round here are wickes/homebase and focus :(
