BRAND NEW BOLT ON ALLOYS, NO MOD NEEDED! (not just kampers)

Post by twats1066 »

Hey all!

Spent many hours researching into whether or not it was possible to buy brand new bolt on alloys for the t3 that do not need machining or modding in any way. Believe it or not i have found two set that i believe to fit!

My t25 is lowered 70mm, will these wheels fit?

The first wheel specsification:

17" big
205/40/17
7.5" wide
5X112 pcd
ET35
66.6mm wide centre bore hole
60mm centre bore hole depth
14mm bolt holes

The second wheels specification
18" big
225/40/18
8" wide
5X112 pcd
ET37
66.6mm wide centre bore hole
60mm centre bore hole depth
14mm bolt holes

Please let me no if these wheels will fit straight on without hassle and machining of the wheels. I WILL THEN POST THEIR LINKS FOR OTHERS TO BUY. Many thanks Laurens Parsons

The ones they sell are for T4's and T5's Paul so the T4's ones will still need the centre bore enlarging.

They do sell the same design ones for a Merc Vito so these should have the correct size centre bore(best to phone and check). They'll still need longer rear studs and front bolts.Plus they'll need spacers to bring the ET down.

True Steve, but the guys there know the T3 pretty well.

The wheels are listed as the manufacturers have listed them (a condition of their contract I am told) but as you say, the Merc ones seem to be a direct fit for the T£.

They're nowt special Rob....just cheap Merc copies.
The 17's are supposed to be weight rated to 785kgs and the 18's 690kgs.I still wouldn't buy them personally.

He's posted the same question on the 'Yard as well Rob....3 times!

It's this bit that get's me though....

Evidently not enough time spent searching cos they still need longer rear studs, front bolts and spacers to fit them....plus the 17" tyres are the wrong size and won't be weight rated for a T25!!
