Electrolux Fridge Door

Post by Molly Man »

I have a Holdsworth Villa 3 fitted with an Electrolux RM 2200 3 way fridge
instead of the normal 212F... it was an option offered at the time of conversion... the external plastic door frame has started to break up and pieces are missing. This part is now obsolete... does anyone know if the door surrounds from any of the other models will fit the 2200 door. Trying to find a good second hand 2200 is like hens teeth but 212 models are advertised all the time. Or is there a spares supplier I've missed? :(

Thanks Andy... agree it's great van probably one of the best conversions!.. Fridge working OK and is in great condition apart from the door so don't want to change it... just repair the door surround. 8)

Try this company, they supply parts for old dometic/electrolux fridges.

When you phone he will need the model type and product number from the silver label inside your fridge.

Tony on Brickyard told me about them. They had the part I needed for a reasonable price and it arrived in the post the following day.

Cheers,
Dave

Thanks Dave... I will try them today ...just looked inside the fridge and label has been scoured by over zealous cleaning! So no reference numbers in fact just the adhesive! They may still be able to help.

Anyone out there scraping an Electrolux RM 2200 fridge?...I just need a good condition door.
