Us teachers are experts in applying emulsion, its the only paint the kids can use these days (just as well when you see em paint ) .....and we get gallons of the stuff for free!

If you do that use water bonded ply (still water resistant etc) no need for marine plywood, plus when you varnish etc do both side and not just the front (if its a door) as it will warp over time as one side can expand more than the other side!!

Weight is always the issue I think. Last ones I built had at least three sides which was a bit wasteful really and incredibly heavy using 3/4 chipboard but guess I was learning. Tomorrow I'm out in the workshop putting a lightweight frame together that I can face when its complete. Also need to create some ally sheilds for cooker as its surprising how things close by can get scorched!
I had way too many drawers too - they just ended up full of crap. Decided to opt for one drawer and then use small plastic boxes that can sit behind a lip and be fetched out when not required. The only mandatory stuff will be the kettle and instant tea most of the time!
Still haven't resolved a rear seat/bed. I shan't use rock n roll hinges as I want all the space under that back seat for the LPG tank thats in there. Yet to get the LPG system thats fitted, tested, so still running on petrol till then. Looks well fitted but not keen to run engine on it unless its been checked.
Loads to do in there to be honest including fitting some patio step lights that were bought for me last year.....
Unlikely but if possible could you post a picture of the frame your going to use as im going to do exectly the same, if not a picture just materials you going to use?
