Baxters rear seat belt kit - where do i put a hole in card?

Post by ringo »

In my typical style, i have done things in the wrong order.

Instead of buying a 3 point seat belt kit for the sliding door side of my van and then fitting it and getting an idea of where i need to put a hole in the side card before i get it trimmed - i am sending my door cards (all of them including the one behind the sliding door) to get retrimmed first. Doh.

So, can anyone who had the neat seat belt kit from brickwerks (possible in westies too) like this:

Tell me the dimensions and location of the hole i am going to have to get made in my door card or whatever it is...

Thanks

To save chopping I run them out of the top of the trim panel, put some 8mm washers over the trim clips to hold them off and give a gap.

I've just been a bit busy to do proper instructions, it's not rocket science and it is covered in the bentley manual.
They will get done eventually, it's just having the time.

Great fit on my Autosleeper - seats are a bit further forward so needed the extension to get our rear facing baby seat in.

Need a bit more thought on fitting an inertia belt on the o/s - ie. where the cupboards are etc - hopefully get it done this summer
I come before you to stand behind to tell you nothing I know about.
