few bits of rust on my van arches mainly as ever some are just syrface bubbles but want to catch them early others are aroudn the screen :( now i was thinking of tackling the bubbling ones myself before they get worse whats best way?

1) sand back make sure they not goen through
2)) rust prevent krust???????
3) fill what filler(skim only)
4) prime with anti rust primer or zinc?
5 paint
6) flat
7) polish?

Your approach is about right for the job.
When you take the paint off and the red rust you will see black discolourations in the metal, that is the rust.

Try to remove as much of the black as you can.
You can then slow the return of the rust with some magic chemical (kurust, vatacan, etc.).
Use any standard body filler.
Do not put antirust primer over the filler.
