Tired 1600 diesel..............Best replacement?

Post by KarlT »

Just thinking.

I like the 2.1 flat4's but is it a hassle converting back to petrol?
Maybe the 1.9 diesels would be the better option?
What ya' think?

1Y 1.9 D for easy swap, otherwise 1.9TD AAZ if you can find a decent one (not worth fitting something with over 100,000 miles already on it IMHO)
Keep it real.

Yep it certainly does....

You are best off going for a AAZ - its 1.9td.

If you had a 1.6n/a then the 1Y (1.9 n/a) would be your best option - but as you have the turbo bits, then i would say its best to go for the turbo conversion.

However, if your JX is working fine - i dont think i would bother...
