Ha ha thanks the van has bags of charm even though it was fun when it was a bit tatty i felt it deserved a new lease of life engine and interior next i will keep the thead rolling
Good effort that looks amazing. was it all DIY work? if so I take it you have previous spraying experience?
My bus is the same blue as yours was and is also a bit tatty I just wish I had an area to work in, not sure I would step up and do a full respray though, seems a bit scary.
thanks guys, yep every step of this van was diy, from painting and machining the wheels to the prep and paint, window fitting, lowering interior which is nearly done and the last bit which was the painting my dad helped out there by telling me what quantitys of thinners paint, primer etc to buy and he used to be a painter and he mixed and instructed while i did the job, used to watch him paint cars day in day out when i was younger so had a good idea how to do it didnt get one run just a slight reaction in a door shut but i can live with that. overall very happy and cant wait to do another one in a different style in the winter.
