Rotten Early Sliding door

Post by ben50 »

Hi all,

sorry if this is a stupid question, but I have been trying, as yet unsuccessfully to get hold of a reasonably price early sliding door with a factory window to replace the rotten one on my bus. I was just wondering is it at all possible to fit a late door to an early van?

Cheers,

Ben

Hi Ben
perservere, you will locate a door, you can only fit a door with the fitment you have, be that van, aftermarket window factory window etc, the mechanism and striker asemblies are different on the later door. hve your original door repaired , it would have to be pretty terminal to be beyond it, can you post a picky and/or be more specific

fairly easy to fit a late slider on an early van or vice versa
just need small mods to the latch area of the pillars!
dosent take long! couple of hours should do it

opening size is the same
