Wind down window rubbers

Post by winber55 »

Hi
Hope I can make sense about this.. We are in need of some new rubbers for the driver and passenger doors. The bit we are after is the bottom edge where the window goes down into. I've looked on Just Kampers and they only seem to do the rubbers for the fixed windows but not the bit I'm after. Could anyone give me a clue as to what to look for? eg part name etc or point me in the direction of where to get them from?

Many thanks

It sounds like it might be window scrapers you need. I bought a pair at the Northwest VW show last year from Alan Schofield cant remember how much.

They do, i got one a few weeks ago and fit perfectly. Good quality too. However if you order make sure you order the right side..Offside or Nearside..Dont make the same mistake as me..

The window scrapers are still available from VW and as Simony says the inner offside fits the outer nearside and viceversa.
