V belt fitting prob's

hi all, can anyone advise on fitting the 2 v belts water/alt both seam really small do I take the flywheel off tried to fit them before and ended up putting 1 large v belt around all 3 wheels, really stuck as bus is off the road at the moment and is only means of transport any advise much appreciated.

Hello and Welcome to the MAD HOUSE,
There are 2 belts on mine and to install them I had to undo the bolts on the wheel and remove the plate.
Release the altenator tensionser and fit the new belt then put under tension.
Then install the other belt whilst simultanously replacing the bolts on the wheel.
There are shims/disks to adjust the tension.
Hope that helps, if you dont understand PM me and will try and give a more coherent / nderstandable answer.

Its not broke? fiddle with it until it is, then you can fix it
Oh and the name is pronounced CRISIS

nice 1, i could really do with a pic as when I bought my bus it had 1 large belt (god knows why but it did work sort of)and I can't visualize what the 2 belts look like ie the flywheel has 2 v grooves which 1 goes to which,so if anyone has a pic of water/alt belts in situ it would be kinda sad But really really helpful for me,thanks again.

have sorted the 2 v belts must have had a blond moment originaly only took seconds to replace cheers to all who helped.
