I'll shortly be wanting a new engine for my 1990 Caravelle. The engine I have is ok, its a 1.6 Seat Diesel, not sure from which particular vehicle, but I'd really like a VW engine back in the van.
I'm ideally looking for a complete VW Engine, 2.0ltr and watercooled. The gearbox thats currently fitted is sweet, so no worries there.
I've looked at the gold and green type engines in various mags, and would ideally like one of these.
The question is, does anybody know of a supplier/Installer in the Birmingham area who may be able to help?
