Thirsty bus?
Not had my 1.9 petrol 1984 autosleeper very long, but looks like she's a bit thirsty, i reckon i`m only gettin about 20 to the gallon at the moment, i know she's heavy and gettin on a bit but she's a bit stuttery on acceleration and i think something aint right and i can get more out of her. Can anyone point me in the right direction, timing? mixture? what do we reckon.

hi,
when was it last serviced, what state are the plugs and dissy cap and rotor in?
the mpg isnt so far off normal, they dont tend to do many more than you are getting, but you may be able to improove things
