hi i bought wheels from just kampers took them off today as i am lowering the van but the studs are threaded has anybody had that too on the back wheels .

I'm equally confused by your inquiry. Are you saying JK sent you studs that need to be threaded in the front? Rear studs are driven in from the backside of hubs. on 2wd fronts, they use BOLTS instead. Some people use threaded studs in place of the bolts and then have to use lugnuts in front same as the rears. Maybe that's what you mean.
Hi Heepsy, sounds like the same prob I had. I only found the problem when I was fitting locking wheel nuts/studs. I had organised with my local tyre fitters to change the studs on the rear wheels, and fit my original tyres to keep the cost down, SHOULD NOT HAVE DONE THAT!!! they had stripped the thread on a couple of studs & nuts because they'd used there air tool to fit the nuts. Had to get replacements from JK. Had them re-done at a local garage who used a hydrolic fly press to put the studs in. Then run the nuts on by hand before tightening. Cheers Stewart
