You can test if it's the bush by securely jacking up side with the suspected problem. Then get a long piece of 3 by 3 wood, or even better a scaffold pole. Place pole under tyre and lever upwards.
If the bush is worn there's up & down movement from the bush rod.
It's best to get someone else to lever pole while you watch the rod.

Top wishbone mounting rubbers....looking from the front the bolt should be central in the bush....when they have collapsed the round head of the allen bolt is distinctly off centre.
Squeeky rubber noise at low speed over bumps!

Yup, if its just when the suspension is moving over humps & bumps, that's right, it'll almost certainly be those inner mouting bushes for upper wishbone.. if by a 'rubber' sound you actually mean a 'squeak'

Re: rubber sound
It is almost certainly a rubber bush either inocently or by nature of a fault rubbing to creat this noise. To find out which one and unless you fear iminent failure:hercules wrote:when it come to thing like this im lostwell when i go over humps on one side of the van sound like some lose and make a rubber sound look under they seem on is that shock gone or on they way out or somethink easy as it rubber sound

Squirt each one in turn with washing up liquid and take it round the block. If you find the culprit you can then assess what to do about it. When rubber (Silentblock) bushes completely fail you usually get a severe knocking as the metal "cage" makes metal to metal comtact. by nature of the design specifications and regulation it is very unusual for a rubber bush failure to result in a catastrophic suspension or steering failure .

Can do the squirty washing up liquid test or in fact it's usually pretty apparent which one it is, or drive slowly past someone at a place you know it does it. Sometimes can even rock the vehicle each side at front wheel arch and hear it.
Might also be worth jacking under lower wishbone outer end and checking balljoints at same time, as top arm has to come off and if top ball-joint gone then do that at same time. Bushes sometimes have to be pressed out, pressed back in accurately and camber alignment eccentric washers put back exactly where they came out! The bushes have often been tag-welded in so tags need grinding off before pressing out.
