LED BULB CONVERSION KITS

Post by PEET »

I have been in contact with a number of companies getting LED bulbs for various modded vehicles I have and have found a great straight swap bright design.
I was considering doing an LED bulb 'kit' the front (side lights, indicators)and rear (all of em!)
I was intending on only going with white but other colours for the front would be available.
Anyone interested or shall i just do my own?

Depends on the amount of bulbs I spose when I work it out its quite a few! The side light bulbs (which maybe be the best seller?) I have received are THE BEST i have found (and I've been contacting quite a few companies for samples etc!), just gotta try the same companies front indicator bulbs (orange and white) and see what prices are indicated (pun intended)

As for indicator lights i think you have to get specific ones to be used as indicator bulbs so that the wattage is ok and your indicators dont flash really fast!! (like when a bulb blows)

Don't the indicator ones need a resistor fitted in them to stop that I seem to recall reading somewhere?? Maybe as opposed to a kit I should just deterine which bulbs are which as some of them work out quite expensive! So once I get them all sussed and sorted I shall let you know. I'm away nex week so I'll do it all when I get back!
