it wont charge either fully unless you are driving for 5 hours or more constantly....... it will almost fully charge them, but not totally........ always best to charge up fully on a mains charger every now and agaiin....
oh, and the fridge should NOT be connected to the leisure battery, it should be connected the same as the leisure battery, via a relay working the same way as the leisure battery from the main battery........
well I have spent most of the day driving about trying to find a battery that will fit with no luck
Code 096 batteries all seem to be 190mm high which is probably about 5/10 mm to high and terminals will touch the metal lid! If all 096 batteries are 190mm then I may as well get a Elecsol 100 ah leisure battery being the same height and cope with having the lid slightly raised and putt some protection across the terminals.
Motor factors, caravan shops etc all suck around here
I used to be like that.....still am sometimes..... Haven't you got that battery sorted yet.....got three 17A/hr ones here......fit in your pocket let alone your bat. compartment!
erm....3x17 = 51, hell , I'm gonna fit them too....

It doesn't have to be a 'leisure' battery in a camper as you're not likely to be parked up in one spot for a week or so. Just fit the same type of battery that's already under the driver's seat. That's plenty of capacity for a camper that is constantly charging it when on the move.
