URGENT Part number required!

Post by chrisray »

Please help, I've tried search on the forum but it says cannot connect to server!?!?!?, and I've gone through a pages on the forum, so I have looked, and I'm not (that) lazy :P

I've also looked in my Hayes manual, which I thought would supply me with the part number but.. it doesn't ..or have I got a duff copy!? I looked under the van, but after a fair bit of dust and dirt in my eyes I thought the internet might be better..but not yet :(

Anyway I need to change my coolant pipes, the extremely long ones from the front to the back of the vehicle..I tried phoning VW commercial but they haven't phoned me back and the salesperson seemed to query why I couldn't provide the part number.

I've got a Type25 Holdsworth Camper 1989, Watercooled 1.9DG (through I'm not completely sure its a DG)

???

Any help MUCH appreciated!!!!!

:D

I thought so too! But on another forum I have been recently advised that you can still get them from VW. I did see some for sale in an ad but wasnt quick enough to get them.. also I wanted to know some info on what I can and can't fit.. but was then advised I could get them from VW for £60.

Is there a definitive guide, book or website for part numbers, not many type25 based sites but the ones there are, are filled with helpful suggestions and friendly advice but so far no where with every part number.. maybe I should start a thread on that!

But for now I would just like one part number! :)

Thanks for that vagcat, thats brill though I'm going to be annoying and ask can someone point out which one it is...I thought it was no.30 but when checking it further..its price at 0.68 Euro...NOW that would be a bargain but unfortunately I don't think so.. this is the part display [/img]http://www.vagcat.com/p/B065/016160.png

Any ideas?

As for ebay, thankyou but its in Cardiff :(

251121399M Water pipe return
@ 62.3 Euros each.

But I do not know if they are still available.

Just spoken to VW, I gave them part 251121397M, very helpful but as there are obviously tons of pipes then its hard to decipher which one is required. ..

I am now querying whether the part needs to be replaced, how can I tell?
