Maybe, but I do know one thing,
I know what I want from my life,
I want to live in a dream.

Was just wondering, would it be possible to put old mk1 gti style porsche wheels on a late transporter?

Yeah I know, "SEARCH" but I like to ask for advice not demand it, anyone care enough not to give me a lecture and help? :idea :idea :?: :idea

Anything is possible. It a question of how much effort or expense you want to expend.

Let's clarify a few things first:

1) Mk I GTI's have a bolt pattern of 4 X 100mm

2) Late model Transporters have a 5 X 112mm bolt pattern

3) Porsche 5-lug wheels came in 5 X 130mm

3) The Transporter weighs 500-700kgs heavier than the GTI.
wheels design for a lighter car are not rated for that much
of a weight difference.

Saying "late model Transporter" is NOT ENOUGH information.
Although the 1971-newest T4 Transporters share the same
5 X 112mm bolt pattern, it is my understanding the lastest
model T5 use 5 120mm wheels.

You need to be more specific with your questions. For instance,
saying "Porsche style" does not say what wheel you mean. Some
Porches came with 4-lugs such as in the 924's and 914-4's. The
5-lug cars came in 5 X 205 like the very early T1 Transporters.
The newer cars that came in the 5 X130mm pattern was available
in many styles.

So there you are.
