Heater fan?
Is my 1980 T25 supposed to have one?? Cos, like, the heater works - it gets warm, but I can't hear any fan and there's no switch for one... Just the three bar thingies on the panel to the left below the steering column.
Am I just being stoopit and there isn't one or what???

There isn't one for that year. If you had one the switch would be positioned just to the left of the heater controls. Mine doesnt have one either, the hot air is blown through from a fan on the alternator in the engine bay.
Cool air just relies on a duct at the front of the van letting air in when you are moving... Not much use when stuck in a boiling hot traffic jam!

Heater fan?
Hi
a similar heater question......
I have a 1985 2.1 watercooled petrol ......I also have a 3 position switch which should operate a fan
It doesent ......my questions are....
is it likely that it is the switch has failed ?
the fan motor has failed?
the fuse has blown because of either or both of the above
Can anyone indicate which fuse might be protecting this circuit .....
.....AND where the is the fan hiding cos i cant find it ...........
Thanks your help will be appreciated
Andrew
