Gas Barbie connections???

Post by mwheatley »

Hi,

I know that this question has been asked before because I've looked at it, but I have trolled through the past posts & can't find it anymore....doh!!!!!!

Do I need to place a 37mbar regulator on the gas hose leading from the external (bbq) coupling on the underslung gas tank of my Westy if I am to use a gas bbq bought in the UK??? It's a German import & has a 50mbar regulator on the tank.

I hope this makes sense, I know that there was listed in the past post a series of couplings/connectors/regulators so as to get the UK gas bbq working safely from the German gas feed.

Thanks.............Matt

I just ordered in the couplings from BES, cost £1.15 for the male connector that pushes into the quick release valve on the westy; have no idea about the regulator though, I had assumed the one on the westy did the job but let me know if this is wrong !!

Its a pity about the postage though........
£1.15 to buy £7.16 delivered.
Does any one need one, we could then split the postage between us all ...............
