electrolux fridge

Post by mearnsy »

After a year of owning the camper i thought i would try and get the fridge working. It is all connected to the gas so i clicked the ignition and then the pilot light came on...but what do i do next and how long before it goes cold?

I havent got it connected to the battery, does it need to be?

:?

what do you do next?
make sure the van is on level ground, and wait for the temperature to drop inside the fridge - coould be anything from 1 hour to 4 hours depending on the fridge, and how far you have the control turned clockwise.........

you dont beed any electric to it for it to run on gas if you have lit it already.......

Can i drive with it on? The instructions say there is a switch that cuts the gas if the flame goes out ..

it is not advisable to drive with it on, some do, but the official answer is NO.
Connect the 12v supply via a split charge relay and use that for when you are moving
