Steering wheel & wing mirrors

Post by p66ake »

Hi all, after 10 years of getting swamped by vans and bugs on the way to RTTS while travelling to Cornwall and saying "next year I'm getting one of those" I'm the proud owner of a 1989 1.9 watercooled Bilbo converted camper (named Oscar by previous owner) :D
What I'd like to know is what steering wheels fit straight on and also what better looking wing mirrors will go on without drilling new holes.
Hope you can help me make Oscar look his best!

No "wing mirrors" but door mirrors...

Original mirrors look good and work.. if you have the "convex" ones electric ones look a little more "modern" but cost a lot...
the "truck" (commonly known as Syncro mirrors, but were an option on 2wd as well) type ones look good, but require drilling.. and cost even more....

get used to the "elephant ears" and revel in being able to see behind you..
